Autumn Leaves Fluttering in the Breeze

Medium: Chalk Pastel, Crayon, Oil Pastel, Tempera Paint

Beautiful fall leaves are falling from the trees, fluttering in the breeze, and you get to capture their magical colors! This abstract painting lesson is inspired by Alma Thomas’s Autumn Leaves Fluttering in the Breeze (1973). Experience her Abstract Expressionistic style as you add “daubs” of paint to create leaves floating in the wind!
